My younger brother proposed to his girlfriend tonight! And of course she said yes. They had picked a ring previously, and he decided to make a public proposal at the local theater where they met during the intermission. Naturally, there's no word on when the wedding will be, but probably after she graduates from college.
I'm not gone
I've realized it's been a while since I've made an update, but I haven't abandoned the site. I've just been having artist's block and haven't really hit on anything I think I can load.
Maybe I should just stop doing journal entries?
A lot has happened since my last update.
To get through it:
- I graduated
- I'm in Ohio, doing a graphic design internship for a local museum my cousin directs
- Our oldest cat has gone over the rainbow bridge
- My boyfriend introduced me to D&D; I'm having fun just developing characters while I can't play.
Since October...
It's been too long again since a journal update and I don't know why deviantART keeps these around
But since the last update:
Scooter, the kitten I rescued, died in January. He was very sick with Histoplasmosis and we weren't able to fight it.
I started dating again.
I'm one more semester off from graduation and will probably move back to Ft Worth.
The Cintiq cord broke. I might have to sell the whole thing to Gadet Savior because I can't find a replacement *anywhere*.
Update
It's been a while since I've done anything, but I might as well.
I'm in my third semester at the technical college and getting heavy into project work. It's basically wash, rinse, repeat stuff, in thumbnail, rough, final.
TechnoCephalon and Daswhox are working with me on an Utrom webcomic, though we're in the basest preliminary discussion. It will be about Professor Obligado traversing Utrominion with a companion and partner named Nalmar, as they search for missing parts of an archeological artifact. It's mostly a ground to explore the regions and society of Utrominion.
I've also rescued two cats in the summer, one of which is a kitten.
